Mid Summer Party News Report.

Following the very successful Mid Summer party held by all the Elves in honour of Santa and Mrs Claus, it has been decided that this should become an annual event.

The party kicked off with competitions held between all the Elves and prizes were awarded for Fastest Present Wrapper, Pass The Parcel, Musical Toad Stools and Pin The Nose on the Reindeer. The Fancy Dress Competition was won by none other than Tricky Dicky who dressed as Santa, causing a great confusion, particularly to Mrs Claus, who at one point was unsure which was her real husband!

Santa and Mrs Claus, caused a huge amount of laughter by coming dressed as each other, although Mrs Claus was none too happy to find afterwards that Santa had burst the buttons on her favourite blouse!! Too many sausages!!

A barbeque meal was served and Mrs Claus went to a lot of trouble to freshly bake a Cloudberry Cake, a real treat for Summer time. Mrs Claus is renowned for her exceedingly good Mince Pies at Christmas time and the Elves were delighted to discover that her cakes are just as nice.

Following the Fireworks at midnight, Santa Claus was heard to say that this was one of the nicest celebrations he had ever been to and that he was looking forward to a busy Christmas Season working with such a wonderful team of Elves.
